Running Simulations

Before attempting to run the simulation in Webots, click 'run as fast as possible'. This step doesn't move your robot but allows the external controller to communicate with Webots. Add WebotsModel() with your choice of outputs in main.py, then execute main.py. You should see the Woodbot start operating from its initial states.

Then, run 'run_webots.py', which should run both webots and your analytical model from Lab1

In case of encountering errors:

  • Ensure your IDE is properly set up with the correct PATH.
  • Confirm that the Webots simulation has been setup according to Lab 2 instruction.
