Preparing Kit¶
Here is how you can get your own kit.
Cardboardbot Parts lists¶

Motor shield for NodeMCU¶
9g continuous rotation servo¶
Important
You must get 360 degree Continuous servo. The servo should be able to do velocity control.
We are using FS90R servo.
Battery and charger¶
For battery, you have two options depending on your need and budgets.
USB power bank is pricier, but it is easy to charge with a phone charger. Li-Po is cheaper to buy and small. However, if you need to buy a charger, the price may be comparable to the powerbank. If you have or going to have one charging station for the class, then Li-Po will be most cost-effective.
USB powerbank¶
- Pack of 1, $10.75 This comes with micro USB cable attached.
Most of the listings are about the same price as Amazon one.
1S Li-Po & charger¶
Any 1 cell Li-Po (3.7v) works. Make sure to grab correct set of batteries and chargers.
Danger
Before and after you purchase your lipo and battery, check their polarity. Some has reversed polarity.
Printable robot chassis¶
You can pick chassis type/designs. Both uses the same components.
